Misunderstood. Driven. Dynamic. Warrior. Cataclysmic. Powerful. Its always been difficult to describe the personality of a genius because it's impossible to fit one in a box. Born to a meager upbringing, the person you know as "B.U.C.$" has always had an uphill battle in life. The things most people took for granted inspired BUC$ to strive for greatness and never settle when there can be more accomplished. When you live in poverty, you make every attempt to escape that lifestyle--by any means necessary.
Etched in his genetics since conception, BUC$ gravitation to a musical career was always apparent; however, the exact stage of his life for that fulfillment was not clearly substantiated. Everyone in his family had talent but only a few took the risk on living it as a dream. With the development of Rite-Chus Records and its artists Jezreel & Gangsta Playaz, the seed of hope for an entertainment career was planted and nurtured steadily.
Around 1995, he partnered with one of his friends, Tee Cade, who had a similar interest and talent in music to become a group, the Young Thugs. Both had been writing and freestyling separately, but understood that there chance to reach success would be far better if they were united. Under the moniker of the Young Thugs, they received an opportunity to record their 1st studio album with the music label S.O.P. (Step Off Productions) and experience the ups & downs of the music industry. With success comes adversity and the chance to learn life lessons and grow. So from the rubbles of despair the new moniker of Turbulence was born and became the mantra of BUC$ & Tee. In 2005, with the assistance of Big Boy, the BBE label was started and a new movement in today's music industry was birthed. As the established leaders of the company, they aided in the development of new artists and the expansion of the company's brand. With little support from outside sources, the BBE La Familia marched onto the forefront of the independent underground scene and continues to roll strong.
After recording several albums and collaborating on numerous more, the opportunity for solo ventures presented itself. After years of contemplating and requests, the right situation arose and BUC$ chance to display his individuality has arrived. With his 1st solo project of any kind completed, BUC$ will introduce you to the complexities of being a young black man. Father. Brother. Husband. Son. Leader. Underdog. Achiever. With that being said, BUC$ would like to introduce you to "Man within the Man." The game will never be the same again...Fall in or Cave in
